Horrible and shocking experience. Ordered a product that was packaged great but was obviously damaged before shipping. It’s actually shocking someone sent me a painting that was damaged this badly. Have been calling customer service and emailing them for weeks. No response, no email, no calls. I’m at a loss on what to do. I spend everyday several times a day calling and emailing with no response. I think I just lost $900 to this horrible company. Done with them and will be spreading the word. Buyer beware.
Ordering from McGee and co has been a very poor experience. I ordered over 6K of product in December 2020. The website duplicated the quantity for 1 painting and reduced the quantity for a bookshelf. I was charged however for 2 handling fees for the two book cases showing it was not my error but the website. There are numerous complaints from other customers with the same complaint online if you search.
Instead of taking ownership of this, they told me they would return one of the paintings as a “courtesy”, had me pay for packaging and shipping. For the second bookcase they did order me a new one but said it wouldn’t arrive for another 2 months. After all this headache there is no discount, etc.
The quality of things we received so far is good but Overall I don’t think this company has a good ordering website and their customer service practices are below industry standards.

Terrible. I ordered the Hoffman Bed in December 2020 and 6 months later I still don't have the bed or any promise of ever receiving it. All customer support says is "I will check with the vendor" but then no follow up! I have been working with support for months now and they refuse to provide me with a refund even though they can't seem to fulfill the order. It has been a terrible experience and worst of all, they charged me $3,500 at the time of purchase. At this point McGee & Co has stolen my money. I would not recommend purchasing any products from them!
This is the first review I have ever written about a company, ever. I hope this helps others avoid my frustration. Stay away from this company - search their products on other sites and place your orders there. I ordered pendant lights in mid-April. I received three table lamps in late April that were not what I ordered. I kept them packaged and reported them as incorrect and available for pick up the same day they were delivered. It took over five weeks for McGee to arrange to pick up the incorrect items, and I still - over 6 weeks later - have not received my refund. I’ve emailed every few days for weeks, spending valuable time I don’t have. And yet getting basic service has been like pulling teeth. Customer service blamed it on their vendor, but that’s McGee’s problem - I didn’t do business with their vendor. These business practices are unacceptable and unfair to consumers. Please don’t enrich this company by becoming their customer - try to find the same products elsewhere.
This company is not worth doing business with, I will never buy anything from them in the future. Their email, advertising a holiday sale, showed an item on sale that I wanted to purchase totaling $4800, but since it was out of stock they wouldn’t honor the sale price even though it is due in stock next week again. Have they ever heard of “rain checks”? They must be doing very well and don’t need my business. I also found their attitude on the phone very dismissive and unprofessional, they clearly have a very poor business practice and philosophy.
I wish I could give this company negative stars. I ordered the $1700 Ophelia bed and it broke within days. The customer service was beyond horrendous. It took them over a month to send me the parts to fix the bed after I sent countless emails, and they sent me the wrong parts. They were not helpful at all and after i voiced my frustration they blocked my number and never helped me resolve the problem.
I have spent thousands of dollars with McGee and co . Their customer service has always been a joke but it has gotten ridiculous the last few months . If you can’t run a legit business don’t . They are clearly pocketing all their profits and not spending a dime to increase their customer loyalty. I’ve swore several times I’d never go back and this time I’m definitely not . I’ve been getting the run around on two extremely overpriced art for months . Both showed up broken through XPO delivery and Mcgee and co response is we’ll get back to you in 5 weeks . They suck !

Furniture is cheap, not well made and trying to get something returned is a hassle. No customer service
can't call and get through to anyone. TAKE Care of your customer and they will take care of you.

don't get greedy-offer quality products and take care of your customers.

This company should be shut down immediately. Have spent significant money with this company to have only been given every excuse under the sun as to why I haven't received the paid for product. Truly amazing this company is still operating and scamming customers. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Agree with all the comments. Shocking customer service and delivery times given the price and high profile of this brand. Great aesthetic, horrible experience.
Major Scam Website
This site is a scam and the e-commerce platform is (possibly intentionally) inflating quantity and cost amounts. Recommend filing complaints with the BBB, all review sites, and complaining to Target who carries their brand. This company is violating consumer rights on many levels and needs to be held accountable.
I ordered 4 very expensive sconces for my bathroom, along with a few other small items, and the sconces never arrived! I have called during business hours, left numerous messages and sent many emails trying to get a response. Nobody has called me back, and the one email I received, said sorry our system didn’t pick up your first email, but it’s funny that that email was connected to her response. She said she’d call me right away after speaking to the manufacturer. 2 weeks later, nothing! I found the exact sconces on Lamps Plus, in stock and much less. Beware!
